All members of the GSA can apply for research travel & conference registration reimbursement funding. The amount each member qualifies for will depend on their type of membership. The more involved you are, the higher the amount!

3. If approved: Submit your documentation and expense report through Concur.Ìý

Applicants must be a master's or doctoral student in good standingÌý enrolled in a research course during the Spring 2027 term and working on a research project for the completion of their degree.

Applicants will need to have the necessary research approvals, and approval from their advisor.Ìý

1. Gather your needed documents and submit your Graduate Research Award Application before the deadline.

2. A committee of faculty will review applications and select awardees.

3. If selected, you will receive an official award letter and the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ of Graduate Studies will work with your department on the rest!

GSA members with three or less points are inactive members. Inactive members can join GSA meetings and events, benefit from GSA funding opportunities such as Travel Conference Reimbursement, and vote for executive officers each year.

GSA members with four or more points in a six month periodare active members. In addition to participating in GSA meetings, events, funding opportunities, and elections, active members have access to increased funding opportunities and can pursue additional leadership roles within GSA.
